Synopsis
Mildred is a wealthy widow who has spent her life caring for others. When her daughter Ann Mary leaves home, Mildred is startled to find that she has nobody to worry about. Soon Mildred becomes involved in the life of her neighbor Monica, a young mother whose husband has left her. As the relationship blossoms, Monica teaches Mildred that there is more to life than taking care of others.
